This past holiday season, Foundation for Hope and Health in Haiti brought joy and smiles to the faces of hundreds of children under 12 years of age with its 1st annual Christmas Toy Giveaway.  The event held on December 21st, at the clinic in Uniondale, NY was a success, spreading holiday cheer to families in need, reinforcing the spirit of community and giving.

Each child had the opportunity to select a gift or two from a variety of toys, dolls, action figures, puzzles, board games and crafts which lit up their faces.

This toy giveaway was made possible by the incredible support of the FHHH staff who contributed with toy donations, monetary donations and their time to make the event a reality.   Volunteers worked tirelessly to organize, distribute and create this memorable experience for every child.

In addition to hosting its own Toy Giveaway, FHHH proudly collaborated with SHALI (Solidarite Haitiano-Americaine de Long Island, Inc) on December 22nd, to support their annual event.  FHHH volunteers joined forces with SHALI to donate and distribute gifts at the “Noël à L’Haïtienne” event, a celebration of Haitian culture and holiday traditions.  Together we were able to provide more toys, dolls, and baby items to kids of the local Haitian community.

FHHH remains to committed to supporting and uplifting the community, especially during the holidays.  The organization’s mission to support families and children in need continues to inspire its programs and initiatives.

As we reflect on this joyous occasion, together we prove a small act of kindness can have a huge impact.

Stay tuned for more initiatives in the coming year as FHHH continues its work to bring hope and happiness to families in our community.

Thank you for your Support!
